I have a good friend, whom we shall refer to as CBH, who just LOVES to make fun of Obama’s election campaign slogan: Hope and Change. While I won’t get into politics just yet, I happen to love the concept of giving back and volunteering that Obama has endorsed and encouraged. Side note: For CBH, this is a constant source of amusement, which I think makes him a little bit evil even though we still adore him. While it may not be the best motto for a presidency (not that I'm saying Obama is using it as one), I think the general message is sound.

With the recent earthquakes in both Chile and Haiti, I just want to remind our three followers and anyone who randomly stops by our blog to donate what you can to the relief funds for these two countries. Even though the death toll in Haiti is much larger, the most recent earthquake in Chile has left plenty of people without electricity and water. So I apologize for the extra side of cheese, but both have been left in devastation and both are in need of our help!
